Film Threat Review
"Harris has directed a solid film here. It is a thorough tale of courtrooms and romance. If you find that intriguing, seek it out. Breaking Bounds isn’t going to provide any pat answers. It will, however, provide you with much food for thought. Especially if you’re contending with an immigrant parent, the film’s insight and wise observations may be right up your alley. Ultimately this is a decent film and worth streaming."
Illuminerdi Review
"It’s truly an exercise in cognitive dissidence, as he is in a state where he is constantly having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, and even attitudes, towards his social and private behavioral decisions that create a certain attitude change towards his family, its tradition, culture and his homeland."

"A rather compelling drama that's basically about love and acceptance, seeing throught the lense of the African diaspora in the US - but even if some plot elements are specifically taylored to Africans in America, the underlying themes are very universal and thus relatable, also thanks to a nicely flowing script that tells the story with the necessary subtlety, a swift directorial effort that stays away from the saccharine, and a solid ensemble cast with just the right chemistry - all making this a very worthwhile watch."
